As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Steele has more than fifteen years of professional experience and has worked with children, teens, and adults throughout her career in hospital, outpatient and private practice settings. She has spent the past 10 years in healthcare leadership, managing and developing new behavioral health programs for underserved populations. Her passion for mental health work was ignited as an adolescent when she began volunteering for local community-based agencies that served individuals with mental illness. Having been a volunteer and professional for many non-profit and private mental health organizations, Dr. Steele has continued to witness the divide that exists with access to care and quality of services. She is committed to combating stigma and barriers to effect meaningful change. In 2020, this passion drove her and her co-founder to find Together Tree. As a certified Instructor in both the National Council's Youth Mental Health First Aid and Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) programs, her mission is to bring critical mental health health information and tools to all..
